(The reverse issue, as you know,
is predominantly through control of conventional and social media. I approach it along the lines of global grassroots, standing in solidarity, but I get it.)

But the U.S. FEC allows it (scroll down to “Foreign national as campaign volunteer”). The circumstances in the U.S. has global implications, not least of which in Canada at the moment.

I did remote phone banking last fall, calling voters in swing states. The Democrats’ databank / autodialler system has its own phone numbers, so your number doesn’t show up. Interesting experience!

If you have time, also consider remote phone banking for candidates outside your state. I did so last fall, calling in swing states, and lots of Californians were doing the same knowing their local candidates were safe.

Consider volunteering for remote phone banking as opportunities come up. I myself am ineligible to donate but I was able to volunteer remotely last fall for swing state candidates.

It’s not simply “standard fare for Donald Trump”, it’s standard fare in America now. Where is the outrage among Republicans? Nixon was held to account among his own party and the media. The “Greatest Generation” had higher standards, even the first wave of boomers, those that resisted Vietnam.

Interesting. Based on some of your posts here, I queried one of my Bay St. lawyer friends over lunch last year about his firm’s use to date of AI. They were to date unconvinced about the economics and reliability. Will ask again when we meet next as a year is a long time in this new environment.
