Canadian. News junkie. Here because Marshall McLuhan was right and the global village has truly arrived (was on Twitter until the village idiot took over).

I deactivated my Twitter account the day after Musk’s purchase closed so as to be clearly part of the before/after count that could/would drop the company’s valuation.
I dared to hope Musk would bankrupt the company and Dorsey (or someone else) would restore it after a fire sale, but alas.

Likewise, Build Canada claiming credit (while simultaneously offering “constructive criticism”) strikes me as opportunistic.

As for “reach[ing] out…on occasion to ask about our memos”, I read Mein Kampf while at university, does that make me a Nazi?

By all means judge the PM and government on the budget, the MOU, tabled legislation, assorted statements (or lack thereof), but this is a little too facile as a “gotcha”, 2/3

The DeSmog article speaks about innocuous quote similarities and a footnote in a speech referencing “go[ing] further, build[ing] faster, and dream[ing] bigger”, and how “long before Confederation, our country was forged by Indigenous peoples, coureurs des bois, and voyageurs…” etc 1/3

“Losing”? With all due respect, it was *lost* at noon, January 20th this year.
