Congress is all on ACA plans - job benefits of course. I took the tact that 1) as a small biz, I don't have a buying group to help lower costs. 2) Healthier people are more productive. Hard to work when you're sick or worried. 3) Govt => help Americans. Supposed to be their job. #FreelanceFriends

Today, the Senate has one last chance to extend the ACA tax credits before they expire.
I’ll be voting to prevent health insurance premiums from more than doubling for millions of Americans. Every Republican senator should do the same.

Republicans who want payments made to HSAs, you need to provide data on the actuarial value of this approach.
High Deductible plans, with HSA deposits, are useless if the patient can't afford their deductible.
Which is the ultimate problem with no CSR, ACA plans.

How did I forget #ScriptChat on the first Friday of the month? (Oh, right. A crazy busy work week just about did me in.)
Phew! Fourteen interviews completed this week. (Another 10 or so set for next week.) So glad I don't have to transcribe them all the old-fashioned way, but I've maxed out my 10 Otter uploads per month (but they're short calls so I have most of my monthly minutes left but can't use them, grrrr).

Every year my extended family gathers for Thanksgiving, we have a fun craft project. This year everyone painted welcome mats. I need to get photos of everyone’s mats. Right now I have poor photos of mine (the rather Prophetic Let it Snow) and my niece’s gnomes. #ChristmasCrafts #FamilyFun

Doing a little happy dance. Why? The Nephew proactively texted asking if I'll help him make a couple specific things for Thanksgiving! (I basically tell him what to do and how to do it, but he does 99% of the work.)
