This may just be my favorite video from Thursday's shaker. Whatever happened to animals being able to sense an earthquake coming? These birds are basically unruffled. Maybe they're used to it? Thanks to Michele from Knik for this one! And to everyone who shared your informative videos.

That thin layer of moist air near surface readily forms "radiation fog" when temps drop after sunset (i.e., Earth's surface is radiating"infrared energy to space, resulting in net surface energy loss). That cooling is strongest near ground, resulting in thin but dense fog layer.

Pretty disgusted in the City of Turlock folks that organized tonight’s town Christmas Tree Lighting. They allowed a vendor called “Patriot 4 You” to sell nothing but MAGA hats and other bullshit during our holiday event that is supposed to build community, not exacerbate the hate.

I finished my bagel thread yesterday and the results were pretty great! Definitely a little disappointed by my flour choice (lower gluten content than expected), but otherwise a very excellent bagel. #breadsky

An addendum to this boiling bit. The longer you boil, the chewier the bagel. 1 min is kinda max limit for my taste.
When the water is boiling, gently place the raw bagels into the pot and let them boil for 1 minute on each side.
