States can also seek to give people a right to sue for damages if federal officials unconstitutionally harm them. A few states already have such laws, and others are considering them. Efforts to use these laws will no doubt be contested, but states have good legal responses. 3/3 go.wisc.edu/l6z2yx

In response to my rant yesterday, I was asked how we can make better parks and other public places for teenage girls? What do they want? I have answers to this, so now a positive 🧵.

I'm considering a little post series extolling the virtues of easy beginner #nativeplants 🌱 for the Mid-Atlantic because in March or April, a bunch of new folks will careen into this hobby (it's like clockwork) and it might be handy to have said posts for quoting.

I'll thread them starting here.
Up to 41 #nativeplants species sown 😳🌱 (a few out of frame here)

As markets plummet again today from Trump's chaotic economic policies, ask yourself: Why would billionaires back policies that tank their own stock values?

It’s the taxes.

I wrote a step-by-step explainer of how billionaires avoid paying taxes. People are often surprised when I explain it.🧵

Russ Vought wants to “traumatize the federal workforce.”

He’s a key Project 2025 author.

He’s a big part of the reason why Head Starts, Community Health Centers, and other essential federal programs are having a hard time accessing funding.

I vote HELL NO.

Attention federal employees and all other employees - if you send a one-word email to your employer that says, "Resign," consider whether your employer will, in bad faith, interpret that email as an immediate, unconditional, voluntary resignation. And ask yourself whether you could prove otherwise.
