the most annoying part of my own characters is the fact that it is very hard for me to attribute a specific age to them, i write all of them at so many different times in their lives, and their ages are usually relative to each other or to expacs, but in a vacuum they're all of their ages at once...

i just saved 200 dresser slots after finally understanding that outflit glamours condense them to 1 slot, this is the best update ever (i wouldve thrown up if i learned about this system before the "add to existing outfit" update)

most of my ocs besides my wol, i only use the job names as a shorthand rather than a literal equivalency. e.g. adonis is a paladin, in the sense that he uses a sword & shield with magic, but he's not A PALADIN. aquila i call a gunbreaker but they're not A GUNBREAKER they're just a gross garlean.

im finally going into my glamour dresser and the thing that instantly hit me is that character-specific pieces are so so so much easier now. ayame's mask. dove's earrings. c'stajha's armlets. adonis's rings. yeah sure what if i cry.

ice and lightning being opposite elements and not just subtypes of existing elements (water/fire) is actually the coolest shit ever and then they made them directly related to light/darkness and hydaelyn/zodiark ohhhhhhh man the ELEMENTS are so fucking COOL

i haven't gposed a lot this year but hyouga's is my favorite by a mile, still very proud of it esp w/ it being only my 2nd serious gpose in years. it was my first serious attempt at post-editing, i did so much lighting in post and i repainted all of her hair, and its atmosphere im very proud of!!!

really it all comes back to how debilitating mouth pain is, its sooo hard to be creative when you're in pain, and tooth pain is up there with back pain as some of the worst shit id never wish on anyone. i had relief today and spent it on cleaning like mannnnnnnn this shit sucks ass!!!!!!!
