We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

I think they may be slightly overestimating the popularity of Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier.

I think they may be slightly overestimating the popularity of Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier.
I'm rooting for the Mariners if they make it to the World Series- my long-held belief being what's good for baseball in the PNW is good for the future of baseball in Portland. However, if the M's don't make it out of Toronto I am going to love rooting for the human cheat code that is Shohei Ohtani.

Important note about the Judge who granted the TROs keeping the National Guard out of Portland, for now. In 2021 she ruled in favor of Olivia Moultrie against the NWSL, allowing Moultrie to sign with the Portland Thorns as a 15-year-old. Just thanks all around to Judge Karin Immergut. #BOANPDX

Despite all the wish casting taking place, by now we should all know that tomorrow's presidential address is probably to announce expanding National Guard/ICE invasions to other blue cities and/or trying to do away with mail-in ballots nationwide. You know, garden variety unconstitutional stuff.
