We need to take this fight national. The US severely under-invests in transit & Trump is making it worse. The U.S. should lead the world on rail & other transit, not lag.

Im hier behandelten Fall wäre eine USt als Preisbestandteil im Ticketpreis enthalten - so wie bei Inlandsflügen.

Kaum ein Passagier könnte die enthaltene USt als Vorsteuer abziehen.

Die Tickets wären also um 15,96% teurer.

Außerdem besteht ein Konflikt beim Ort der Leistung.

Gestern laut NS International mit Abfahrt um 21:13 (danach angepasst auf 21:25). Heute 21:15, morgen 21:42, obwohl der Zug immer 20:15 in Amsterdam startet. 🙄

Additional note: A TGV station's scope radius is about 1 to 1.5 hour driving distance.

When I lived in the Provence, I was just about an hour from Avignon TGV.

And catching the cheaters would be easy, by doing a 100% ticket check between Aix and Avignon (where they can be kicked out of the train…)

If I remember correctly, the bus from kind of center Aix-en-Provence to the TGV station takes about 20 minutes (if there is no traffic jam). There are, OTOH, frequent buses from Aix into Marseille (of course even more prone to traffic jam). Nevertheless for Aixois, bus-TGV to Marseille is meh…
