Two and a half centuries ago, a handful of farmers and printers and philosophers looked across an ocean at the most powerful man in the world — and said no to a king.

Today, in town and cities across America, we again say No Kings.
It started with a fun thought. What if Santa and a witch were friends?I loved painting the details of Santa's room. Also thinking about what pumpkin Santa would have, and how to make a witch hat Christmasy. Titled "Secret Santa"

I had time between lessons years ago with my KD class. I grabbed this book thinking it perfect for OCTOBER. I made it all the way to the end when the last two words did not rhyme with October. Only THEN to realize my dyslexic mistake. LOL

(My youngest gaged on a green bean I packed in her lunch)

Me. Oww you gaged a bit. It was not your stomach saying it was upset it was your throat.

Charlotte.. it was my throat telling me, "You need to find a trashcan now you are going to throw up!"

It should be needless to say, but it is perhaps at this moment worth saying, that transgender individuals have the same right as anyone else to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Today is my birthday. If you'd like to give me a gift, the very best thing to do is preorder my book, Here Where We Live is Our Country: The Story of the Jewish Bund

This book has been six years of my life, and preorders mean everything for its success.
