Rover was a virtual assistant who debuted in Microsoft Bob (1995). 🐶 He is most well-known for assisting users in Windows XP’s (2001) search function. 🦴 The technology he was based on led to the creation of Clippy, who helped users in later versions of Microsoft Office. 📎
