I do try not yuck the yum of others mostly, but I think it's ok for me to admit that every single instance of the "splendiferous" whimsical Ozian language from the Wicked universe is absolutely poisonous to my ears & makes me feel angry.

Suggestions for graphic novels (or novels) for a kid who's 12, and really loved the Wings of Desire and Amulet series? She also really enjoyed the GN adaptation of The Golden Compass.

Once just before I moved to Toronto, it came up that a co-worker was also moving there. Another person was like "Oh fun! Are you guys gonna be friends in Toronto?" & he was like "Well it hasn't happened in 3 years here, so I don't see why it would happen in Toronto".
I think about that a lot.

Something I couldn't have told you before now is that drawing one old-timey Wright brothers-era airplane is pretty fun, but drawing many old-timey Wright brothers-era airplanes is a real exercise in diminishing returns.

I have to get an epipen because apparently fully blacking out is a thing that happens to me if I accidentally ingest gluten now, so that's pretty cool.

A weirdly specific thing that I'm just starting to be really mad about re AI is that more and more we're all going to experience people we love sending us videos, news, etc, & then we have to decide how to tell them nicely that it's not real, or if it's even worth it to do so.

The hold music for my doctor's office plays terrible new country music, but today something weird was happening with the sound so that all the low end & quieter parts were filled with these constant deep, demonic growl sounds like in Kate Bush's Waking The Witch & it was honestly a huge improvement.

Told my team of brand new coworkers in a presentation about myself that “gluten is my enemy" and then I proved it with great gusto by getting extremely glutened and having to leave in a real mess. 🙃
