Held: Many of the ICE agents that drive by have their phones up to the window..I don’t know why, but part of the lawsuit you alluded to earlier alleges that ICE is using an app that can take a picture of a face, identify it, and store it for 15 years.

I am worried tonight about the weekend. I have been through three, week long power failures in the last 30 yrs. North Carolina is going to get ice which will put out the power. Before Reagan we had local co-ops providing our power and it hardly ever went out. If it did, maybe 5 hours, not days.

UBI debates must separate gross vs net cost. In the US, a $16k adult / $8k child UBI has a $4.86T gross cost, but a $605.5B net cost after offsets. Therefor, the real cost is about one-seventh of the headline number.
