This is literally what the Canadians and American did to indigenous kids by shipping them off to residential schools. Anyone who cannot draw the basest of parallels and see that Russia has been committing genocide against Ukrainians since 2014 shouldn't be allowed in polite society.

The vast majority of people I've encountered while playing those games or talked about them online has been very normie centrist lib. Sure there are fash cunts in the fanbase but significantly less than many more popular genres like shooters or sports, where every third interaction is a racial slur.
