I enjoy Pokemon flagship games being comfort easyslop, it's true. But having no idea if I was going to actually clear some of the content in ZA with my team comp was....kinda nice? Just wish it was a little easier to grind so I could experiment with different teams more.

Beat ZA. I raged a lot while playing it but a Pokemon game with actual difficulty is nice. Game Freak side entries being experimental passion projects continues to be a welcome development, even if I wouldn't want to see a lot of these mechanics make it into mainline Pokemon.

I'm just putting the alpha salamence from zone 18 in my party as my sixth and calling it a day. so many new megas and most die like dogs or have weak move pools; raw strength is God in this game.

Zones feel like a "hard on purpose" thing instead of a "game freak should stay in their lane" thing like the rogue megas.

I've about had it with these wild zones, man. Hate getting dogpiled when I'm trying to explore. Arcane conditions for certain stuff to appear. Respawning alphas.

I guess one of the underlying themes of Legends games will always be the uneasiness of human and pokemon coexistence.

My others are Ampharos, Venusaur and Gardevoir. I do kind of want Starmie both for the type coverage and the lulz, but grinding up a Staryu this late sounds awful.

I had to switch some party members out when it became clear that they would only get their megas late game.

Still struggling on a permanent sixth.....have been through Absol, Pinsir, Skarmory, all lack the necessary punch. Emboar and Excadrill have been carrying most of the game.

I'm really enjoying ZA but the rogue mega evolution battles are kinda....pretty bad. they're all plagued by AOE spam with no clear way to dodge other than running and praying you survive. I wish they were just alphas with massive HP bars and stun gages
