Bubba went in the pool even though it was cold. It's located closest to visitors. This was after he stared at me right in the eye, flashed a little smile, and then walked into the pool. Bei Bei is truly a heartthrob~ he is still getting used to life at Shenshuping and stays indoors when eating.🤩

Today I was at Shenshuping Panda Base to see the SNZ boys one last time before leaving China~Bei Bei was the highlight of my day. He spent over 1 hour outside with us. Bubba is still charismatic and gave us a show. Seeing him and Cheej on the same day made me realize that they really look alike.😍

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

Bubba went in and out of his yard a lot~it was kinda cold today so he did not play in his pool. I was not able to see him climb trees or eat bamboo, and he was indoors by 4pm. The pandas can sleep outdoors overnight but lately the weather is dangerous so everyone has to sleep indoors. ☺️
