The first thing Yaxley-Lennon did on leaving court was to thank Elon Musk for funding his legal costs.

That's Elon Musk who has repeatedly called for civil war in the UK.

As of typing this - all of the major politicians and platforms maintain a presence on X and it is time for them all to leave.

Lubov Chernukhin, wife of the Russian president’s one-time finance minister Vladimir, certainly takes an interest in her adoptive British homeland. In a decade up to the last election she gave more than £2m to the Tory party.

Nigel Farage MP’s private member’s bill was voted down.

Good. It was dangerous and divisive. Withdrawal from the European Convention on Human Rights would weaken vital human rights protections for everyone.

Lessons of Caerphilly by-election IMV:

1) UK has become a country with bloc politics
2) enough voters don't want Reform that they are very vulnerable to being on the wrong side of it
3) but Labour, an essential component of that anti-Reform bloc being able to win, are too unattractive at present.
Labour’s Caerphilly humiliation is a bad omen
Result shows how Reform’s polarising nature may also be its weakness
