One exasperating impact of complex trauma is, it can subtly sabotage the sh*t out of our ability to focus on & follow through w/ plans that might improve our life.

We wind up believing we just suck or we're "lazy"-- when the truth is, we have a "virus" compromising the system.

He wears a dark shirt and sweat pants. A figure lays in bed behind him, only a shoulder and blonde hair visible. Scene 2: Noctis lays in the same position, but now his phone lays on the lower pillow next to his hand. His eyes are turned toward his shoulder where a hand rests. He blushes. Prompto is more visible now. He has rolled onto his back, one hand thrown onto Noctis's shoulder and ear. The blanket has fallen down to his shins as he bends a knee, showing Prompto’s light colored boxers and his red tank top. Scene 3: Noctis holds still, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment and his eyes wide. Prompto has rolled over to nuzzle his face against Noctis’s neck, throwing one arm over Noctis’s side as Prompto spoons him from behind. Scene 4: Noctis’s eyes start to close and he smiles softly as his cheeks continue to burn. He’s getting tired but he enjoys the contact. Prompto has shifted to lay on his back, perpendicular, with his head resting on Noct’s side. Prompto’s legs dangle off the side of the bed in the background while his arms are spread wide, one hand back to lay against Noctis’s hair. Scene 5: Noctis has fallen asleep with a goofy smile on his face. His cheeks are still pink, but less so. Prompto has fully turned to lay with his head at the opposite end of the bed. He’s turned away a bit, his feet resting on his pillow and one hand thrown back to hold Noctis’s thigh. Scene 6: Prompto has rolled toward Noctis again. Noctis remains asleep, softly smiling, as Prompto grasps his ankles. Prompto is happily cuddling Noct’s feet, a wide smile on his sleeping face. Final Scene: A close up of Prompto’s face and torso, cuddling Noctis’s legs and feet, but Prompto has awoken, horrified and blushing deeply.

when people say shit like that it drives me up the wall, it's unrealistic. people on welfare often have very few, if ANY choice of therapist. in the US, most of them simply do not accept patients on medicaid. you take what you can get.

From 1939 to 1945, almost 200,000 defenseless people were killed. Their lives were described as ‘unworthy of life,’ their murder called euthanasia. They died in the gas chambers of Grafeneck, Brandenburg, Hartheim, Pirna, Bernburg, and Hadamar; they died by firing squads, by deliberate starvation, and by poison. The perpetrators were scientists, doctors, nurses, members of the judiciary, the police, and of the health and labor administrations. The victims were poor, desperate, defiant, or in need of help. They came from psychiatric clinics and children’s hospitals, from nursing homes and welfare institutions, from military hospitals and camps. The number of victims was vast; the number of perpetrators convicted was very small.”
