I literally got an entirely different class of doctoral degree because I hate doing academic research, but the solution to that is to make the existing tools to get sources easier, not asking the plagiarism machine to hallucinate them into existence for you.

I’m sorry, but it is disgraceful to be an academic who uses this technology to conduct research. It should be prohibited in all of our scholarly institutions, including universities and journals.
