Watching all this remotely cuz we got our Covid boosters yesterday and unlike other times our behinds have been kicked…😢 (My bad on risk assessment with that scheduling.)

Had a friend who may have done his service thanks to this program. Didn't die in Nam, but he screwed up his foot and ankle so bad they were still pulling fragments out from time to time 40 years later. Good man at heart, not very smart, didn't deserve all the pain.

Had a cool Uncle who lived in the Villages until he passed in the early 00s. He flew B-25s in WW-II, and was an old school conservative. But he stood behind his kid who did early 70s protests against Nam. Wonder what he’d think of this…

Thanks! We had minor concerns being a bit shy of 65, but MI told the docs and pharms they could safely ignore Junior’s addled “advice” and we had no issues.

Even w/o the current MAGA crap a lot of what you see goes back 2-3(+?) decades as folks knowingly voted to throttle proper general community support. (No socialist taxes etc.) Just saw today my modest city scored 1.7M for road patches. But best estimates are 500+M is needed. Slo-Mo FAFO…
