Quite annoyed. Generally found talking to squirrels, cats, crows & dogs. Bit of cancer. Wee stoma. Capable of nihilistic love-making to the sound of Stock, Aitken, and Waterman. Oxford commas, impotence, and rusty anarchy. Black coffee. Grungey MDANT. ✊️🎵🐦‍⬛

The study of the galaxies reveals a universal order and beauty. It also shows us chaotic violence on a scale hitherto undreamed of. That we live in a universe which permits life is remarkable. That we live in one which destroys galaxies and stars and worlds is also remarkable.

I hope Mr. Jones is suffering terribly, knowing that the laughably corrupt Supreme Court could not be bothered to bail out his irrelevant ass, and grapples for the rest of his life with the horrible person he has been in the service of people and causes that don’t give a shit about him.

Polish take on 80s youth subcultures and their music and drugs of choice

Not putting up with the gobshites & the crooks is a good start, Mr Polanski.

They've all got away with it for too long.

Well played.

“I think the federal basic income program could be a nation-building program.”

We've seen study after study showing universal basic income works -- cheaper, more effective than current income programs. Doesn't disincentivize people from working. Reduces crime. Improves health. UBI now.
Ireland is locking down basic income for artists. Could Canada follow suit? | CBC Radio

I recently ran across a letter about Bob Moog pitching his new-fangled modular to our university in 1964 (way before I was born). They bit & he installed it in a room with copper lined walls to shield it. In the 90s we rescued it from an attic, restored it, & I recorded part of my 1st thesis with it
Bob Moog in Washington - 1964
Thought you might find this to be of interest… Jon Hassell just shared with me a very historic letter. Very timely too, with tomorrow being Bob Moog’s Birthday celebration… 16nov64 Letter to Jo...

Sweet.

'Copper Blue' was a major part of my early teens. For which, I am forever grateful.

Best of luck.

Personalized media kills the one thing that's actually powerful about experiencing art: sharing that experience with other people.

This is Thatcher's "there is no such thing as society" dressed up in dragons and pinups.

“Ghostly traces of the master recording bubbling up through them, but completely different in feel and atmosphere. The dub could take on a life of its own, eclipsing the track that birthed it.”
