Will it amass subs, views, or win an award? Probably not, but that’s not the goal. The selfish part is that I just love these conversations. It’s about connection, making the person across from me feel comfortable enough to dive into the craft, the chaos, and the weird, wonderful RPG hobby we love.

I’ll be honest, I do interviews for selfish reasons. I’m not a sessoned reporter, just a fan who wants to hear people’s stories. The vibe isn’t a polished interview, but two folks at a pub, one gleefully listening to tales about the hobby over a pint, while you’re the accidental fly on the wall.

It is so good. I was fortunate to receive an advance copy after an excellent playtest at KamCon and have gathered a great group of Black Company fans ready to let slip the dogs of war in a couple of weeks. 😊

The thing I like more about editing podcasts than video is that I can cut out my “umms” and “you knows” with minimal trace, but with video, I can’t do it without making it look like an old glitchy Max Headroom commercial.
