When I lived in Denver w my bf in the early ‘90s, we were poor to starvation, esp when he refused to work. We went to his mom’s on Thanksgiving & she gave us a tiny amount of leftovers & we were giddy w having food to eat. We made turkey pot pie & some fritters w gravy, it was so wonderful.

When I lived in Denver w my bf in the early ‘90s, we were poor to starvation, esp when he refused to work. We went to his mom’s on Thanksgiving & she gave us a tiny amount of leftovers & we were giddy w having food to eat. We made turkey pot pie & some fritters w gravy, it was so wonderful.
I am Jewish, like back to Exodus days on both sides — I mean, taking progroms into account ofc. I have had ppl get angry & offended when they ask what the Jewish perspective is on Jesus - which brace yourself - is that Jesus was not the messiah or the son of God. I personally do not believe

I was just telling a young attorney about the anxiety caused by putting pleadings to be filed into a basket in the clerk’s office and standing there hoping to will the clerk to grab it and file it.

There were never enough Taco Bell taco sauce packets for me, & thank goodness you can buy whole bottles of it in Publix, so I just experienced divine luxury enjoying my Chipotle burrito with taco sauce poured on every bite. I am in a blissful postprandial mood. 🌶️

Apparently, AI makes up fake Thanksgiving recipes, too. These fake AI recipes push out all the real, test kitchened recipes. Idk why I find this so entertaining. People on fb also telling people asking for a lawyer they don’t need one! Just ask ChatGPT!

There’s such a huge difference between people who send you memes & reels that are generally cute & cheerful, & those who send you ones you truly need, that really hit home. They are both appreciated & let you know who really gets you.

I went down a nostalgia rabbit hole this afternoon & I have lived an extraordinary life & have accomplished amazing things (amazing to me), but all I am is tired of living. Holidays make me moody.

When I was in HS, new york city public schools banned parties. The teachers renamed them “cultural experiences” or “C.E.s” for short & we continued to celebrate. We did not need any DEI initiatives, we were gloriously diverse & multilingual & from hundreds of different experiences & we respected all
