All charges brought against protesters at Broadview today must be dropped. When cops and agents attack crowds without provocation, they make shit up to justify their attacks (in his case, an attack waged on a cooperative crowd to produce fascist social media content). I called and talked about how the state cops joined ICE in brutalizing protesters today.

Broadview, Illinois today—

A dizzying array of federal and local police quashed an anti-deportation protest outside the Chicago ICE "processing" facility. Border Patrol agents once again violently attacked protesters, with arrest and crowd control support from IL state troopers.

Why did @govpritzker.illinois.gov send out Illinois police to limit protests at Broadview? Why is a progressive governor shielding illegal ICE activity from peaceful protesters? Why are our state tax dollars devoted to Trump’s agenda?

Bothers me when people discuss Left movements in the U.S. w/out underscoring the GENERATIONS of repression, surveillance, violence directed at movements. The "Left" is so disorganized is used as a joke but I hardly ever see those same people saying 'THE LEFT WAS TARGETED & DISORGANIZED by the STATE'
