As long as this is the paradigm … This & until the nullification of Citizens United, nothing else matters. Until we plug these gaping holes, sinking the ship of democracy/rule of law no amount of bailing will keep us from sinking into an ocean of autocracy of oligarchy

During the government shutdown, Republicans refused to negotiate with Democrats over the enhanced ACA subsidies. Though the subsidies expire at the end of 2025, Republicans insisted that the issue could wait until after the shutdown. Now the GOP’s health care homework is due, and they’re panicking.
