Went back and rediscovered 70’s English art rock band 10cc. Criminally underrated. Rubber Bullets, opening theme for the pilot episode of Superjail!, remains my favorite but I haven’t gone through their whole catalog yet.

Rediscovered Maximum The Hormone after finding out about them last year because their drummer, Nao, was said to be the person inside a pink mascot suit that was killing it in a YouTube video. I didn’t know I had this hole in my life for the last 28 years.Their collab with Atarashii Gakko! is awesome

Trying to work my way up the ranks in Marvel Rivals. If my team is ok, I can hard carry as Clock and Dagger and win. If my team is good, I can keep them alive and we win. But I keep getting idiot teams who don’t help each other, can’t aim or protect their healers. 3v1 against Venom, we all die? WTF!

2025 has been grindy so far. Had to stay for OT this morning and then got caught up handling something only I could finish, so I ended up working almost 18hrs. I am still le tired.

I don’t often cook, but I generally have success when I do. Went for some spaghetti and meatballs today. Success! Not the hardest dish, but I did it with minimal prep, coaching, or even a recipe. Next time though, we start calling audibles and adding stuff.

I said fuck it and bought a pair of H1H Heavys and the Dropkick Murphys shells. Just tried them out. These are probably the best wireless headphones I’ve ever used. Mind blown. Individual instruments on The Strokes’ Last Nite come through so clearly. Marvin Gaye sounds amazing. Dream Theater WOW.

Started watching Secret Level. Dungeons and Dragons was ok. Sifu was pretty cool, melancholy. New World was silly, totally called the flex when I saw he made an arm. Unreal Tournament was the first good one, Rebel. WK40K was awesome, Titus is awesome.
