I think most wrestling promotions suffer from lack of talent or shitty booking so there’s only like five viable men’s heavyweight champion options at a time. AEW is so stacked I think people could make an argument for 15 different guys being champ.

I don’t really feel like getting into about Hangman and Samoa Joe. I’ll will say that I feel like AEW has earned to let things play out. I personally think there’s been some messy booking decisions lately but AEW at their worst is still better than 90% of wrestling from the past 20 years.

That’s not what we do in America, yet. Living through the past ten years I really hate comments like this. There’s untold horrors that weren’t supposed to happen in America but they happened with little to no resistance from those in power.

I don’t think there should be awards for podcast because it’s the lowest form of entertainment. It’s not like some scrappy DIY scene where underdogs are being given a voice. No other form of media would tolerate Adam Carolla, Ben Shapiro, and Candace Owens.

I saw somebody say that part of AEW's appeal is that they present themselves as part of the wrestling world and not the whole of it, and I have to agree with that sentiment, the way they acknowledge and embrace wrestling history that has nothing to do with them makes me smile.
