it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet

Just got around to playing Tend by IV Studio and they call it a "flip and write" but I'm still not sure what to call it other than a lovely game! And it has a scratch off!
Parts reminded me a lot of Stardew Valley (the board game) but overall made it a deeper, competitive experience.

Finished the last book in the silo series. The first and last book were the best. Fantastic character development and dystopian world building. This book one is a page turner.
Can’t wait to see how it plays out in the TV series. I would have liked a bit more in the ending.
