For a state struggling to educate Tasmanians for the 21st century, swinging fee hikes and course cuts is the last thing we need. Looks like budget cuts in all the wrong places to help pay for the AFL stadium we don’t need and can’t afford. #politas

Not just fashion but Screen and Media just as Tasmania was starting to take off as a place for TV production with recent filming of new series. It's all part of government cost cutting to ensure there are dollars for the stadium. These arts and science courses will disappear altogether. #politas

If the Liberals and Labor is so opposed to their pay increase (www.abc.net.au/news/2025-09...) they could pool the difference between their current salaries and the increase and help pay for the stadium, yes? Based on crude maths Lib/Lab members = 30 * additional $20k after tax = $600k p.a. #politas
