Reconsidering voting in future Tasmanian elections. It's such a rigged, closed loop system here. I'd prefer to pay the fine. #politas

Oh, FFS! Tasmania Police supposedly reporting 15k attended the pro-stadium rally. Load of crap of course. Crowd looked similar to last week's. I'd say around 5k for each rally. Tas Police saying what Felix Ellis tells them. Want to make sure public service cuts don't affect them. #politas

Well, I have emailed Dean Harriss and Bec Thomas imploring them to viye no when they make their decision on the stadium this week. It will be down to these two. I am not feeling confident. #politas #nostadium

The AFL has held the State hostage, they never wanted us to have our own team. The stadium demands are obscene.

The people interviewed who are in favour of the stadium have a huge amount of self-interest invested. A young footballer, a publican and a coach operator. Ask one of the 3000 public servants whose job is set to be axed to help pay for it. #politas

Stadium or no stadium, young Tasmanians will still leave the state. They'll leave to pursue better and more varied higher education, better paid jobs, for adventure and travel, for warmer climates. They always have and they always will. A stadium won't stop that happening. #politas

“A proposed Aboriginal truth & reconciliation park has reduced in size multiple times — most recently to accommodate for practice cricket nets — & will also act as an emergency assembly point. Ms Mason said it was a poor outcome. ‘Tokenistic is too light a word’.”

Forget what you know about bushwalking and survival. The Tasmanian bush is different from anywhere else.
Never go alone, carry an EPIRB, notify authorities where you’re going and for how long and do not deviate!
Better still, pay for a guide, survival is measured in minutes here at times.
