TT-Line insolvent. Continuing to trade though, which is against the law. More headaches for the government. #politas

If blokes wearing high vis lose their jobs, there is lots of teeth gnashing. Thousands of bank workers have lost their jobs in the last couple of years. There's a media story about that here and there, but not much angst over it.

It was always bullshit. All that happened was transferring patients from an ambulance to an overcrowded, busy ED. The patients aren't being attended to any faster. #politas
How is Tasmania's ambulance ramping 'ban' going?
The Tasmanian government's "ban" on ambulance ramping was announced with much fanfare in 2024 — but there has been no effect on ambulance response times, and patients are still facing long waits in ho...

Dr. Lumsden-Steel says "I don't know how 'Jeremy' is going to afford to build all the new facilities he needs to build." He can afford a stadium apparently! Is this a script from Fawlty Towers? Well, 'Jeremy' needs to rethink his accounting. #politas #auspol
More than 90 Tasmanians who have been medically cleared to leave hospital are not able to because they are waiting for an aged care place or NDIS support. Premier Jeremy Rockliff says it's "not good enough" and is calling on the federal government to increase hospital funding.

Excellent article. The more time the media spend reporting the Coalition's woes, the less time is spent on scrutinising the federal Labor government's failings. Sure, Labor's done some good stuff, but with the political capital they hold, they should be doing so much more. #auspol
No saving the Coalition – and that should be a warning to Labor
Labor is trying to present itself as the adult in the room, by pointing to the opposition's tantrums. That’s not governing, it’s babysitting.

Enjoyed the series #allherfault. Obviously, some divergence from the novel and Irish accents would have been terrific, but a very good adaptation nonetheless. Sarah Snook, excellent as always. The Australian actors did a great job with the American accents.
