Now THAT is the half I’ve been waiting for from the Spirit. Once they got up 2 they actually possessed the ball and made Houston run. Including a wonderful team move for the third goal. Great stuff.

The “We back up” clip is far too often used. This is the correct MLS meme.
One small good thing about DC not having a MLS Next Pro team @gregoryroche.bsky.social is that we get to play in the US Open Cup and not in Leagues Cup.
MLS announced an update for which clubs will play in which cup competitions for the next two seasons.
The big changes:
- 18 MLS clubs will participate in US Open Cup
- 18 MLS clubs will participate in Leagues Cup
