i know dropping another 80ish methodically engineered mascots every generation is an easy way to print money, but it'd be even easier (and cheaper) to just focus on the mascots you already created.

while pangoro hits like a truck and is cool as hell, i quickly noticed a glaring flaw in my team composition: TOO MANY PUNCHERS. even moderately plucky golbats were eating my team for lunch. luckily i found the best pikaclone, mimikyu, and immediately threw her on the squad.

for the first time in my pokemon playing career, i got so bored by my started that i box'd 'em, and added the vastly more interesting alolan grimer

oricorio also got box'd, because gamefreak gave it the worst movepool i've ever seen. WHY is it learning double slap in its mid-20s! pancham better.

dewpider evolved IMMEDIATELY because she is all about that action. poor cutiefly got difficulty curve'd and could no longer hang, and so got box'd and replaced by top 10 pokemon stufful.

cubone and salandit also joined the team! cubone hits like a goddamn tractor trailer so she has da big bone.

pichu evolved into pikachu and pikachu is so boring that he got box'd in favor of oricorio. and since i'm more of a cat person, rockruff got box'd and replaced with dewpider.

and rowlet evolved, which i barely even noticed.
