Oh hey new followers, time to do an intro pinned post! I'm Brett and I make art, zines, and comics too! I also dance, run a local figure drawing group, co-founded the Pouncepunk art challenge held every February, and am a kaiju enthusiast.

RIP Drew Struzan. Not just a movie poster artist but a man capable of putting lightning in a bottle, and of taking the form of cinema and encapsulating its spirit in still imagery. The best that will ever do it.

To celebrate a successful TriPride festival, I bought this Dark Horse Comics Godzilla today after work.

The Super 7 Super Kaiju Godzilla '89 toy sitting on my couch with the purple building it comes with and the box it came in sitting behind it.

2019 was a big year: Chibi Godzilla, Legendary's own Burning Godzilla, Godziban's Godzilla-kun, and the Shinkalion movie's Snow Godzilla all appeared that year!

Wife and I had a couple friends over and we carved pumpkins. I threw together the idea for this Godzilla literally minutes before the friends came over.

Full honesty here: I forgot how fucking nasty PBR is. I drank maybe a third of it, devoured my tacos, and got the bartender to pour the rest of the can out for me. He put it in a paper bag for me to leave with.

Things random strangers have given me today: a tiny green duck, a friendship bracelet, a gay pen from the local casino, a rainbow bandana from a realty group, and a purple ribbon to wear for domestic violence awareness.

The 2021 anime series Godzilla: Singular Point takes Shin Godzilla's idea of evolving kaiju forms and runs with it. Godzilla Aquatilis is the first form we see, its design inspired by Titanosaurus.
