#AEW PPVs always deliver, but #AEWWrestleDream 2025 was one that surprised me pleasantly the most.
For eg. I didn't expect the tag team title match to be my favourite.
I also didn't expect a surprise Mercedes Vs Mina match to slap as much as it did. Almost every match overdelivered.

Agreed. It's all a bit murky. Irrespective of the direction the Death Riders story goes in, Hangman should close out both Full Gear and World's End. Especially Full Gear.

In general, I don't mind this happening. And WrestleDream is not a "Big PPV". But I am concerned that this consistently happens when Hangman is champ. It was his undoing the first time.
That man deserves better.

I’m not one to think that the Men’s/Women’s World Champ belt must close a PPV if another story or stakes deserve it more (eg Rock/Hogan).

That said I was at Hangman/Swerve Lights Out and those two aren’t as crazy as Mox and Darby are.

Over/under 1.5 felonies in this match.
