Doctors, aka scientists, bear responsibility for downplaying smoking. Activists who have campaigned for smoke-free spaces are less responsible for the fact that most people still smoke.

Only 1% of animal biomass is #wildlife today.

Torturing most animals alive for the taste buds of richer people has the same climate forcing (W/m2) as burning fossil fuels.

And yet, less than 4% of climate stories mention meat.

Do we understand why this is? Please share your thoughts.

People who enjoy nature and animals very rarely really care for them.

I have worked in the 'business' before.

Most Birders love birds like Trump love women.

When we eat a bird, we kill a wild bird.

Most birders kill bird for food and ergo wildlife birds all the time.

Until recently, we could learn from the past re what happens next. We have entered uncharted territory now. This time around there will be no survivors to tell the story. We can still learn from the 'local' past regarding what will happen 'globally'?
