One of the remain campaign's biggest mistakes was not making use of him
I get the sense whe really wants to defect, but Reform won't let her, similar to Truss.
I'm amazed there isn't a piece on vat for private school fees
For some pretty limited milquetoast posting on here I've had abuse and even a death threat. I think it's as bad as Twitter and it's overt actual nazis, but it's not exactly the kinder gentler place that people say it is
I occasionally look after a dog with that name. It's embarrassing calling it out in the park. Poor kid.
I gave my opinion on someone's opinion on transit. I don't really care who runs your city, other than it not being a sex pest.
Christ, you people are as bad as the Trump fans
People said he should get run over by a bus and have rocks chucked at him. I got a death threat for agreeing with him. Valid points I'm sure
Was somewhat surprised that the reaction to your fair and balanced piece was a bunch of people essentially wishing death upon you, but guess that's social media these days
I remember having to buy my own teabags and there being a team milk kitty that everyone had to put in to
Surely this was actually a celebration of finishing runner up in the Maybank Challenge Cup? Don't think there's many other teams that have achieved this prestigious honour
#eurovision UK entry is basically a less good rewrite of Katy Perry's Last Friday Night
Cab at the rank in Gare Du Nord wanted €50 for a mile journey. (Would have walked but had luggage and kids with us)
Thanks for the suggestion, have a great day!
Thanks Andy. Have a good evening
So it's ok for artists to have gigs cancelled for supporting the Israeli government (and not clear whether Jonny Greenwood does or not) but not ok for artists to have them cancelled for supporting Hamas. Got it. Don't think this discussion will prove productive for either of us , so have a good day
The venues have cancelled the gigs because of security threats. It's clearly not voluntary.
And Kneecap's gigs were cancelled for saying 'kill your mp' and 'up Hamas' rather than their general views on Israel. One can debate the merits or otherwise of this, but let's have some accuracy please
It's not an interview, it's a report on a statement they've posted. They're musicians who aren't allowed to play music because of a campaign so yes they have been silenced. Would be saying exactly the same if it was Kneecap gigs
Their gigs have been cancelled. It's in the headline
Pulp - This is Hardcore
Bases on my limited experience this is the least surprising railway news I've ever heard
Olaf Scholz mocked British railways over “broken tracks and bad trains”, claiming that "nothing works any more” in the UK. Turns out: Germany rail problems have become so bad that Deutsche Bahn long-distance service is less punctual than even the worst operator in Britain. www.ft.com/content/d3b6...
Unfortunately they were spotted inside the Hackney Central branch earlier today. We've let central management know
Ousting of Thatcher is most vivid. Fall of Berlin wall is slightly fussier
What's the first major news story you remember as a child?

Challenger for sure. After that the next one I remember vividly was the Berlin Wall. Then the invasion of Kuwait. Obviously other things happened between those but I'm talking off the top of my head.

Really curious about Ukrainian answers.
What's the first major news story you remember as a child?

The Challenger explosion. I remember watching the footage on the little B&W TV that only came out of the closet for space shuttle launches and presidential speeches.
I had to meet him for work once. Worst 90 mins of my career
