Hello new followers. I'm a middle-aged man who occasionally finds time to play videogames in between parenting, work and exhaustion.

Thanks for joining me.
Coming over here, occupying physical space!
Half is being generous! It's mostly noises. Not random though. Unsettling. Creeping. Footsteps? Something else? Oh God!

It captures that classic Metroidy vibe.
It's commuting day, you betcha! Ridin' those rails...
God damn I'm so tired...
Underrated, weird-ass soundtrack.
Music from the Game Boy game Metroid II - Return of Samus is now available on the #NintendoMusic app!

Today, I was given access to a screen reader for testing purposes. I don't know if I'll be able to make the website better, but you better believe I'm about to become insufferable about this shit!
This seems pretty well-disguised by your framing, but happy birthday! I think!
And you got here just in time for peak "complain about the weather" season! It's a national event!
This was weird and a bit sexy back when I was the perfect audience for it: A 13-year-old boy in the 90s. I'm neither of these now.

Subjecting Americans to PAL speeds for anything is just very, very funny.
(And the old man was Ardal O'Hanlon)
And that's the story of how The Divine Comedy has made me blub repeatedly several times in the past 24 hours.

Back at the hotel, I spotted that the song had a music video.

A lonely man raises his daughter by weaving her a pair of wings at various stages of life, until he "leaves". She returns as an adult and relives those memories of him.

It hit me in the parenthood harder than an episode of Bluey.
It's a beautiful, gentle song is about how there is always an invisible thread between us, even when we're apart.

This was like the third time we'd left the kids at home for a night in 6 years.

First time hearing it, Mrs Fry cracks first 😭. I remain resolute... for now!
Mrs Fry and I have been trying to listen to the new Divine Comedy album all week, but haven't managed to get to the end.

Most things remain unfinished when you have kids.

Which is where the final song on the album, "Invisible Thread" comes in, during the Divine Comedy gig encore. 🧵

I've crossed the event horizon where I'm pretty sure there aren't enough years left to get through my backlog.
Lots off their new album, and what an album!
The gig was The Divine Comedy and they were very very good indeed.
I'm staying in a nice hotel for a gig / anniversary present. And look who else has graced these hallowed halls!

Beats every actor, sports personality and politician if you ask me. Well... maybe except Brian Blessed.
Update: "Yes" and "It's in a very big box."
"No" and "It's late."
Happy Pokémon Legends Z-A day! Did your copy arrive yet? What are your first impressions?

I AM POKEY THE PENGUIN!!!

TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!
"Or the same. Whatever you want, Sir. May I taste your boots yum yum."
Well put! And that feeling persists to the very end!
Oh, and watching the film didn't help either. It's also awful!
