the ruling class desperately wants us to believe that social and environmental justice is outmoded and unwanted, and that social movements have failed and have no future. we will prove them wrong.

All this hate for migrants when nothing transforms a culture more than capital. No amount of immigrants will ever change America, the capitol of capital, more than America transforms immigrants into American businesspeople, citizens of money.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Trump is threatening to take everyone down with him. With the massive exception of attacking Venezuela, I’m all for it

After No Kings, momentum was building for a national strike. Brandon Johnson and many others called for one. Dem leadership channeled strike energy into the shutdown, narrowly focused on healthcare, only to predictably cave. But sellout senators cannot shut down a national strike.

abolish the senate
November 10, 2025 at 5:04 PM
These same Senators and others behind them will also oppose DC statehood, Medicare for All, expanding the court, ending arms shipments to Israel, raising taxes, abolishing ICE, and ending the filibuster, etc. if and when Dems get control

this is payback for Mamdani winning

remembering that time Obama talked the NBA out of striking in 2020. oh, no reason

look, they needed to *something* to undo the momentum from last week lest folks get too excited about Mamdani and the possibility of a livable future

I see a growing convergence between Miller and Trump's desire to shut down major cities through military occupation and raids; mass deportation and public sector layoffs; and intensified repression; and, on the other hand, desperation on the left fueling the shutdown and calls for a general strike.

Don't worry guys, I have a genius plan to stop political violence.

Step 1: Make elite consensus be that the mild peaceful disapproval be treated as equivalent to violence.

Step 2: Have the government openly violate the law in a manner which proves it nonbinding.

Step 3: Crash the economy.
