HOW does this keep getting worse?! And when do we get to personal liability for people who approved the prosecutions of sub-postmasters, on what seems to have been a totally false basis?

So there are only 16 members of the Labour Party on here or something?? Because that’s all the like this rubbish could manage.

I know politicians are really tribal and sticky but ffs. Just leave Labour. You’re all going to be out of a job either to the Greens or to Farage.
Farage and Polanski have something in common. They are both wrong about Britain.

Thinking about making a C nested function interface wrapper for Curl that I can then upgrade to closures when @thephd.dev gets them through (no pressure but if you don’t everything is ruined)

It’s a curl wrapper so should I call it cwrapper?

I just ordered a small thing from a luxury brand. Their website is like a fucking tin shed. Absolutely terrible.

They’ve got a WhatsApp support line tho.

A tiny insight into the way the world works. Rich people don’t care about the web. They need WhatsApp tho.

Crazy.

It leads me to think…

Just completely wild to me that the Labour MP who knows anything about tech @chionwurah.bsky.social and has done decent work on it for YEARS (and tbf I don't agree with >40% of her positions) is not made a minister, but a succession of know-nothings supported by tech company goons is instead.
I am glad that one Labour MP is asking critical questions about dependence on AI - economical in this case. It's an MP who didn't get her tech expertise from hosting a Faculty intern for a few months.
The OBR has warned of the downside risk to the UK economy of an 'AI bubble' bursting

I asked the Minister whether he agreed, and what steps his department and UKRI are taking to protect investments in innovative companies that would undoubtedly be affected by a market correction

How on earth did we get here? From folks who were telling us they’re the good guys not 3 years ago. Now they’re in the position of watching people die because they disagree with them. They shouldn’t be in jail let alone starving themselves to death.
