In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

I'm not commentating on whether it's right or wrong... At the end of the day corporations aren't people and would rob you blind given the chance if it makes the shareholders happy, but always form your opinions based on facts, not fiction.

YouTube does use LLMs (Inspiration tab), just not here

Couple things that may or may not bother you:

1) YouTube has always modified your videos with AI, that's how they add audio ducking (among other things) after you upload

2) These models aren't lake-draining LLMs, they are traditional machine learning models that have been in use since the 2010s

Fully paid off my car today! Surely that means my credit score goes UP and not DOWN because that doesn’t make sense and we have a REAL system built on REAL principles that totally isn’t a MEME built on a MEME mountain that we climb up like Peak after a pint
