I have had no success in contacting SSA on the 1-800 number for the last two days. It was clear it was not operating normally as it has in the past. It should have told me how long of a wait and offer a call back. It did not. I waited 3 hours to no avail. Tonight’s message was this - WTF?

Is anyone else having trouble getting through to Social Security using the 1-800 phone number? Two days in a row and it won’t even tell you that you could leave a call back number or how many “minutes” you have to wait. Seriously?
