Misogyny is the force that unites so many across time, space, class, you name it.

The hive mind of the misogynist has the least barrier to entry. It welcomes all for the low price of their dignity and self esteem.
my first substack is an essay on violence against sex workers and who is allowed to feel safe online

Can confirm these perfectly articulated points, having worked in higher education for 11 years, part of which as a union president.
Having volunteered and worked in academia (admissions, FA, alumni, and in advancement [working closely with executive leadership]) for about 20 years, it is quite difficult to express how truly dark the underbelly of academia actually is.
Since I know at least one academic who appears in the Epstein files is reading my posts and maybe there are others:

You did things you should not have done.

All you can do now is take seriously apologizing and making amends to the victims, whose perpetrator(s) you cozied up to.

And people outside of academia don't appreciate fully, I think, how the people whose names are in these documents are *still* important people with a lot of power in the field to determine whether people at other schools get promotions and tenure

Like I'm taking a risk every time I post about this

I would bet any money the NRA and its bitch posse is terrified of ICE.
January 26, 2026 at 6:55 PM
Friendly reminder, the NRA is not a gun rights organization, it is a group of lazy imbeciles cosplaying as slave owners. It in no way represents the overwhelming majority of gun owners.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Just read “Capitalists Must Starve” by Park Seolyeon & @antonhur.com The title & blurb led me to expect a book about a factory strike... It is an absorbing portrait of Juryong’s whole life - its hardships, how she was treated as a woman, her resilience, determination & passion. A fascinating read!
