Yeah, you know the time Biden insisted on running for a second term, no one stopped him, and then he froze on the debate stage because of age related decline and the party was left with no real nomination process and now we have Trump? That was a disaster in my opinion.

The DSCC on running Mills as the oldest freshman senator in history after @grahamformaine.bsky.social went from unknown to raising 4 million dollars in small donations in a couple of months makes me feel like I’m losing my mind. It feels like the dem leadership wants to punish their voters.

Mills, running against Graham Platner in the Maine Democratic Senate primary, would become the oldest freshman (79) ever elected, to a 6-year term.

The reception was mostly warm besides an occasional detractor, including a man who pulled Cuomo in for a handshake, took out his phone for a selfie, and as the former three-term governor of New York smiled for the camera, told him, "I can't wait to watch you lose again.
