When he was younger, Vince never thought much of it. He grew up in a violent world, where it was normal to harm, even kill other people.
Two key events in his life changed his persective on violence. The first was accidentally murdering a member of his nomad clan.

Galatea is violent towards pretty much anyone that she does not consider family. She will fake being as sweet and inviting as she needs to be for a job, and being a rockerboy helps.

Varen always has a mask on, rarely even letting it drop even in private. They embrace the mantle of this stone cold veteran mercenary fully, they even have masks they wear with other people. Only a handful of people have seen who they really are behind the many masks they wear.

It truly is situational for Varen. They are not beyond negotiating or reasoning, but when those things are not on the table then they are likely to strongarm their way into whatever it is they’re after. Their calm collection can turn into iron pressed against your skull in a second.

Under normal circumstances Zayn will only really get violent if someone else starts it. He doesn't usually start the fights but he sure as hell will finish them.

The only time he tends to unprovoked swing first and ask questions later is when biotechnica is involved. (brief why in reply 😌)

Vikt has a love-hate relationship with this idea. He catalogues every mistake, every moment shit went sideways. Analyzes, itemizes, reads into all of it. Does his best to not repeat it—but somehow, things continue to crash down in the same pattern, and it drives him crazy. Maybe he is the curse.

Nomad kids don't always know what their birthdays are but Billie does. Her dad would always do something. Usually he would have something squirreled away from a heist for her.

zi/V doesn’t really party much due to not drinking alcohol and having social anxiety. So something small with close friends at their apartment would work, or even just taking the day to sightsee. Birthdays weren’t big in their nomad clan either so it’s not a big deal to them!

Vale hates their birthday. Their older brother died a few days before they turned 16, so every year is a reminder of his death. Over the years they've tried a few things to help ease the pain, from partying hard to not celebrating at all, but the extremes never work out. 1/2
