Varen tends to leave a... lasting impression. That is to say, cold, reserved, and intimidating. It's entirely intentional of course, unless you happen to be someone they're close with, or what you have for them is a matter of biz, they'd much rather give the impression of being unapproachable.

The I’m legit over the holidays in fucking AUGUST, it’s insane. Retail is wild and I LOATHE it this time of year. I’m so tired. Be nice to customer service workers if you’re out shopping this season, we’re going through it. If you’re mean to customer service workers u can rot in hell. 🥰

Despite no longer being a part of any organized religion, Varen still wears the cross necklace their mother bought them when they were a teenager. It's more symbolic of their familial ties now, but the original meaning rears its head if Var sits and thinks too long on it.

Varen smells mostly like their perfume, shampoo, and conditioner. That is to say like a spicy vanilla with coconut. They also tend to smell like incense smoke (patchouli, usually) because they burn it a lot. Mix in some cig or weed smoke depending on the time of day and their stress level.
