It was very different congress for me as I was representing my region as their council member and vice chair of council .Its was privilege to be able to hear members debate issues that matter to them

In a keynote address at RCN Congress today, Professor Nicola Ranger demanded an update on pay for those in the NHS and general practice, and stressed that all nurses needed a ‘significant pay rise’ urgently #nursesky

This was a great event , @rcnkingscadets.bsky.social it was great to listen and talk with cadets , past and present and hear what they’ve gone on to do study nursing or wait to studying nursing. Is special nice talk to cadet who dream is work on air ambulance.🚁🏥🎉

It was, wow cadets are very impressive it was Honour to speak to them and hear their progress, thanks to the fabulous program .

I am thinking about our 90% female workforce on #InternationalWomensDay and every day

Overworked
More likely to die by suicide
More likely to be victims of domestic abuse
Routinely sexually harassed at work

I will continue to fight for better.

it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate the strength of women , I know amazing women who have been supportive & inspire me every day. we need to remember on this day not all women in the world are independent and we need to fight for their freedom and their rights.
