The Atlantic nixed his first choice of bead.
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Yes the FBI had access to a Signal group.

No they did not break encryption.

It looks like one of the members of the group was an informant.

Signal is safe.

The answer to David’s question is 14 words long.
Just a guess that "human rights implications" aren't going to be the human rights we talk about when we in the human rights filed talk about human rights.

Also, wtf "existential threat to Western civilization"?

Spent last Friday at a conference on the Digital Dark Ages and have been working on a paper on agnotology in this realm specifically and now the antivax cranks in power literally changed the government website today.

Three things are true:

1) Election security in the United States is not as good as it should be.

2) There is no credible evidence that any modern presidential election in the United States has been hacked/stolen/meaningfully tampered with.

3) Matt Blaze is an expert in this field. Listen to him.
The unfortunate truth is there's no simple, clean narrative about election security right now. There are real vulnerabilities. Not all states do sufficiently rigorous post-election audits to provide robust assurance. But there's also simply no evidence to support claims that elections are hacked.

So SCOTUS will just shadow docket stay this ruling until it’s too late for the midterms, right?

My parents met on jury duty. I’m pretty sure my mom was engaged to a guy named Doug at the time.

In the jury pool room they watched the Watergate hearings and she thought my dad was an asshole. They were married within the month.

And seven years later they named their only child after a hot dog.
