Like I have nothing against people who do it but it makes everyone sound the same, I've met Aussie trans girls with American accents bc of it, and it makes you sound thin and muffled and quiet like a shy tradwife.

that’s actually what made the experience bad. the cis women involved were all “wait what the fuck?” and it was like 3 trans women who were all “they can voice train like i did if they wanna be here!!!” about it.

So the thing about boycotts, is that they're organised by people who would otherwise use the thing, as a way of protest.
They're not something you can participate in if you were never gonna use the thing anyway, and they're not a method of you flexing your ego.

The lie was told that pushing kids into #STEM would empower them. What it really did was starve the arts. At my local high school, senior art classes won’t run at all next year. We won’t grasp the cultural damage until it’s far too late. That’s not progress, it’s a funeral.
