I am NOT scared of butterflies. I just don't like being touched b̶y̶ i̶n̶s̶e̶c̶t̶s̶.
Pbb because in my life's experience, it may be possible that non-nazis know what a totenkopf is and other such knowledge of nazi-symbolism but they never had any reason to let me know that. The people who I am aware of having extensive Nazi knowledge are mostly Nazis. And historians intellectually.
I don't know that. And I didn't assume anyone was a Nazi. That's actually laughable. I said I would be suspicious. That's not an assumption or accusation. That means I'd be questioning why they knew it.

If we can't talk without putting words in my mouth, we can't talk buddy. What's your goal here?
Sincere question?

If someone knows a totenkopf by name, I'd be suspicious of them. I'd question why they knew it. If they knew it because they were history buffs, cool. If they knew it because they collected nazi memorabilia, I'd be alarmed.
Yeah, I'll say things against him now. I just won't say things I don't believe. But does my answer matter to you? Or is this just another dunk?
So, it wasn't a sincere question? You weren't trying to get to know me, you were trying to dunk on me. To put me down to make yourself feel better.

Fine.

But I'd like to get to know you. What about telling me how dumb I am and my club sucks does it for you? Are you cognizant of the dopamine chase?
Sincere question? Not including people I only really talk to online, I play pool a group of people in a league but I'm not in the league. I go to some of the happy hours after DSA meetings but I'm not much of a drinker so not often. Leftist gun club. Work and family and few other friends from past.
Is that Rage Against the Machine?
you can use alt text, I know it. Delete and try again please.
Don't try this shit. You said "such a sheltered life" don't pretend there was not an explicit comparison to your lived experience. I don't fuck with that dishonesty shit.
Yeah one guy that reads a bunch of WW2 books. Not an employee. How many employees saw it before? How many in the process to put it on the shelves?
How many people looked at it and just saw a skull and cross bones? How many people had to see it before it was on the shelves? Was every employee complicit in a nazi scheme? Was their ignorance worse than complicity?
I'm assuming this person is under 16, this is far from the first time the symbol has cropped up in "popular zeitgeist":

Not to mention how it's pretty consistently in films featuring Nazis.
Either a young person or someone willfully ignorant
Wal-Mart pulls T-shirts with Nazi skull logo
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is pulling a skull-and-crossbones T-shirt from its shelves after a Maryland blogger complained that the image was identical to a Nazi SS emblem from World War II.

I mean this kinda proves my point. How many people didn't recognize the symbol for it to get on the shelves in the first place. I'd bet more people walked through that Walmart than saw the man's chest.
You could argue I'm projecting my ignorance. I'd say that I understand people to have varying life experiences and expecting a majority of people to recognize an image out of context is a stretch.
the recognizing the name is based on a post I made saying I'd side eye anyone that knew it by name half-jokingly.
you got about 20 minutes to share the link, otherwise I'm done with your pathetic lying ass.
52 minutes ago. Clearsky is free. I was blocked by them 90+ minutes ago. Y'all tiring.
I didn't block them, they blocked me. Check clearsky and it must have been pretty immediately after dropping this "proof" cause I never did and still don't see it.
I've always been of the belief that leftists don't exist in echo chambers and I still kinda believe it. But you're telling me that if you polled MOST of the people in your life, they'd recognize an out of context nazi skull drawing? They'd be able to name it?!?!?

Nahhh, y'all lying and you know it.
I've never been a bouncer, cool
You lie as easily as you breathe. I've blocked four people today. I unblocked to look for evidence. Two I blocked for not using alt text. One had a butthole emoji and the other has four images of movies with the nazi skull. The other two I blocked for telling me they were going to mute or block me.
telling someone their sheltered because they don't have the same lived experience and then calling for them to develop empathy is not only hypocritical as it shows a lack of empathy, but it also shows astounding ignorance while also being patronizing.
No, it's your assertion that not having your specific lived experience equates to a sheltered life that shows your ignorance and privilege.
it's not believable that I was reminder of a story from years ago?
Honestly just reminded of a funny story that was tangentially related but I guess dunkers are watching my account now. This isn't fun anymore, I'm sad now.
