I find myself contemplating the meaning or definition of civil war. It feels imperative that we figure out if that is what we are engaging.

Chilling....and no comment option. Civil debate vs civil war, the line appears to be thin right now. I hope we can change that. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/12/u...

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Somebody please explain how this works! This seems related to why conspiracy theories stick in the brain.

If you want to change an organization’s culture, start by changing how work is done. Changing these systems changes behaviors. Over time new beliefs are formed and a new culture emerges. #iopsych #orgdesign #culture

Over the weekend, I was reminded of an observation someone shared that books by women about leadership get placed in the self-help section of bookstores while books written by men about leadership get put in the business section.

This was a Barnes & Noble

The way that housing co-ops work in Switzerland may seem foreign to many. But the central idea is simple: What if homeownership had no profit motive and no capital gains? Advocates say their model could reshape how the world thinks about affordable housing. www.nytimes.com/2025/08/26/r...

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Lutnick on being invited over to his then-neighbor Jeffrey Epstein's house: He invites us in and there's a massage table in the middle of the room. I say, "Massage table in the middle of your house? How often you have a massage?

And he says, "Every day...and the right kind of massage."
